Mayehu was born and grew up in the family that worshipped witchcraft and when he was 12 years old his family was given to the spirit to be the servant of the local witchdoctor. His family sacrificed regularly for the witchdoctor and if they didn’t sacrifice for the spirit, the spirit killed one of the family members. Because of this, they were seriously afraid of the witchdoctor. One day Mayehu heard about Jesus and his power, and as a result he gave his life to Christ and was freed from witchcraft bondage. After that the believers prayed for him he becomes free from all bondage and his life changed by the power of the Holy sprit. When his family see his change they expelled him from home and he face a lot of problems. Through all this challenges and difficulties Mayehu become strong in the Lord, and he becomes a witness in his village. Lastly God called him to be a Church planter and the church send him to a new village and he planted a Church. Last year he went to Loke mission school (sponsored by WorldServe) for one year of mission training. Now he has more than 60 Church members in his first Church and on top of that he has a second new Church with 32 Church members.
